One of Formula One's most genuine, talented and friendliest World Champions, Jenson Button, has announced he will not only drive one of the Jaguar XJ-R9 Group C cars which won Le Mans in 1988, at the Le Mans Classic, on July 7 - he will also participate in 'The Real Thing' next weekend, driving an LMP1 car for the Russian-backed SMP team.
Jenson competed in F1 from 2000-2016, winning the World Champion's crown in 2009. He has always evinced a desire to compete at Le Mans, and will now get a double dose of endurance racing.
Jenson Button raced in 305 Grands Prix, winning 15 times.
