RANGE ROVER VELAR - LIFTING THE VEIL

Apparently the translation for <Vel-ar> is ‘To veil, or cover’ – and what has been revealed is, in my humble opinion, the most exciting development from Land Rover for many years, even exceeding the hugely-popular Evoque .
Positioned between Evoque and Range Rover Sport, the new Velar is a fantastic example of an adventurous and innovative design study by designer Massimo Frascella, under Head of Design, Gerry McGovern.

Externally and internally the elegance of the design execution is spectacularly tasteful, different and sophisticated.

I think this car will sell its socks off.

Not only is Land Rover currently on a roll, but this vehicle will find a whole new set of buyers in the luxury SUV sector.
Velar goes on sale in July 2017, with a guide price of £45,000 (USD$55,300; AUD$72,100).

It will be available with five engines at launch, starting with a 180PS 2.0L Ingenium diesel, right up to a 380PS 3.0L supercharged V6.

I believe Velar will be a landmark car for Land Rover; and a new benchmark in the Luxury SUV sector.
